So - what’s the work?
We are creating a new way to think about digital governance, one that is cybernetically sound, relationally healthy, chaordic, wisdom-based and suffused with Douglas Adams' genius for making serious ideas playful and just having fun.
So start with rigorous thinking about systems, complexity and emergence, but recognize that the best governance is not imposed from theory. It emerges from practice.
We will build working prototypes, create dramatic "what if this happened?” experiments, create theatrical performances that explore governance dilemmas, and convene Hitchhikers and Field Researchers who test ideas in real contexts. By the time we finalize the Constitution, it will have been lived, not just theorized. And if we get this right - it is in and of itself a terrific story to tell.
